Built for people who look after websites

PulseGuard is a small, independent uptime monitor. It started as a tool to stop finding out about outages from a client's email.

One email per outageAlerts are confirmed by two retries and sent once. A monitor that cries wolf is worse than none.

Tell people before it breaksCertificates, slow evenings and planned work are on the outlook days ahead.

Nothing inventedNo fake customer counts or locations. The numbers you see are your sites' own checks.

How it works

A scheduler runs every minute and checks every site that is due, many at once. Each answer is stored with its status and how long it took, and added to a daily summary.

When a check fails it is retried twice, ten seconds apart. Three failures open an incident and send one email; the first good answer closes it and sends another. Certificates are read once a day. The outlook is built from the same records.
